Renowned Artist David Scott’s Exhibition Coming to Galeria Beretich and the Claremont Graduate University

David Scott has an impressive 70 year career as a painter, teacher and museum director, including the Smithsonian National Gallery of Art and the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C
Scott's artwork has evolved from decade to decade drawing influences from collaborations, research and personal friendships with leading artists of the day. In his early painting career, he studied under California watercolorist Millard Sheets, and later with the Art Students League of New York under the stubbornly independent John Sloan.

The exhibition, which runs through September 29, will feature paintings from throughout Scott’s career. The exhibition will also feature Scott, Paul Darrow, Rupert Deese, James Hueter, Martha Longnecker, Sam Maloof, Harrison McIntosh and Paul Soldner.
